Lumia 520 advice

Anonymous
Not applicable
I'm looking to get a Lumia for a second phone mainly for the satnav feature.

I read that the 520 dosent come with a built in compass, would this effect the satnav feature in anyway ie not show the direction I'm travelling in?

Sorry if it seems a dumb question.

Regards

GPS works by triangulating satellites so a separate compass is not required.

I've always seen as a compass as a fad and from the people I know who hill walk etc they don't rely or usually use a compass on a mobile phone.

Back to topic it's as mi5 states.
