Lumia 1020 free camera grip?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Received my new Lumia 1020 today and according to the Nokia website, I should be able to claim a free camera grip via nokia.ly/cameragrip - however, I am getting "This IMEI number is invalid or has already been used" when I enter my details. I've double checked my IMEI both on the handset and the box and am entering it correctly.

I have emailed Nokia via the address supplied on the promotion page, just wondering if any other new Lumia 1020 owners have had any success? Could this be an issue with the 64gb handset which is exclusive to O2?

Finally got a reply on Friday.

Dear Sir/Madam

Thank you for your email.

Apologies, due to the popularity of the promotion we are currently experiencing a back log of claims of which we are working through in date order.

Kind Regards

Tristan

It's a shame they didn't foresee the potential popularity of the offer and have measures in place to deal with the applications more efficiently....
These issues wouldn't arise then....

Thanks for adding this Steve. For those who may be viewing this page differently (e.g. if they view 30 posts instead of 20 on each page) which post are you referring to?

Cheers!

Thanks for pointing it out Steve

Is anyone on the community still having trouble with this? If so, have you contacted Nokia to see what response you received?
