How Do I Stop Twitter Notifications

Anonymous
Not applicable

I seem to have an issue with Twitter notifications on my Nokia Lumia 520.

When I add anybody new on Twitter, I am constantly receiving notifications of anything they post.  When I installed Twitter,  I  did say "No" to Push Notifications.

When I delete the app - I still receive notifications.............. Help.....

Not strictly true...

These txt notifications only happen when the OP starts following someone new. I was getting the same thing when I first started using Twitter for BlackBerry on the Z10.

What you need to do is get onto a PC and go to the profile of everyone you have added. next to the "Following" button is another button, click on that and then select "Turn off mobile notifications".

This will stop the pesky txt messages!
