Since updating the firmware to 7.1 I've been enjoying the use of my Blackberry's Hot Spot feature which enables me to wirelessly connect several devices (tablets, laptops etc.) to my Blackberry and utilise my Blackberry's data connection. Recently though I've been unable to switch the Hot Spot feature on. I try tick the box to enable it, the green circle spins round and round before disappearing. I'm wondering whether o2 have disabled this feature?

do you have a strong 3g connection because it loads normal web versions of the pages you are looking at, unlike the mobile wap page versions

Sorry I don't understand your point about mobile rendered pages.
No me neither.
It seems that this is a widespread problem amongst the Blackberry Community and which I believe is being investigated at the moment. O2 need to comment.

blackberrys seem to load web pages like on a normal computer unlike a normal mobile condensed version that fits the phone so it needs a strong 3g connection to load it all on screen otherwise it just cuts out because it cant cope

I've got no problem with access to the internet or BIS via wifi or the mobile network. My problem is related to the Hot Spot feature where I can turn the Blackberry into a wifi Hot Spot, using it's mobile network connection (so that my laptop, ipad or whatever can access the internet by connecting by wifi to my Blackberry).
