Forgotten password Nokia Lumia 735

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I'm hoping to save my photos before hard reset. It said somewhere if I contact the provider they may be able to do this. Is it possible? Or am I wasting my time?

Thanks

The network provider can't help. Did you not back up previously to One Drive?

You can use OneDrive to back up your photos.

Settings >Backup and turn on which of the options you want to back up.

I'm wondering if the OP is locked out of the phone if the password has been forgotten?

IIRC they are all set to backup by default anyway.
If they log into one drive on their PC they can check.

OK I'm with you. I back up on android to one drive but it wasn't by default.

There again I would use the same password for the phone as for the PC ....D'oh!

Maybe not on Android but it's a core part of Windows phones.

IIRC It was an option when setting up WP8, but not set by default sadly. Its only by default in W10M, and even then default it over wifi only.
