Cortana & Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi Everyone,

I've heard that WP 8.1 Update 1 is rolling out to the Lumia 930 devices at the moment, anyone know when other handsets will get the update? Is O2 involved in this update like they were with 8.1 itself?

I have the 1520 and can't wait to upgrade!

Cheers!

According to this link to MS, O2 have not released it for the 930 yet.
I know someone with a 1020 on O2 that has received it and it's out for the 925 too.....

930 owner here who still also doesn't have Update 1, the phone was direct from O2 via an upgrade over the phone.

Hi @Chris_K , just to add to the clamour of replies to your post, I too have a 930 handset acquired directly from O2 (with O2 branding on the boot screen + default apps) and I too have the same OS and Firmware versions as others have posted:

OS 8.10.12397.895
Firmware: 02061.00066.14252.51002

I think I speak for all followers on this thread when I ask if you could confirm whether the update, for Cortana & Live Folders), has exited testing and been released by O2?  If not, is there any chance that an indication  could be given (or escalate internally for formal response) when we can reasonably expect it to be made available?  Using the "Check for Updates" every morning & night is proving very tiresome.

OS 8.10.12397.895
Firmware: 02061.00066.14252.51002

Thanks

Just to add to this, I have a brand new nokia 930 (well out of box yesterday) and I have OS version 8.10.12397.895 and firmware 02061.00066.14252.51002.

Ditto all the above, another frustrated customer waiting for the update here for the 930. Surely somebody at O2 could give us some sort of idea?

And could we please drop the stupid name "Microkia"? It's childish and pathetic.

You're mistaking the Windows 8.1 Update 1 with the Nokia Cyan update which is completely different.

i don't advise much on WP as it's not my strong point, but thought it may have helped - Anyway, I'll get back to Android slight_smile
