Any idea how long it takes for them to reply? Emailed on the evening of 1 Sep, got an auto reply that eve and a text the following day. Nothing since. Ta!

They say 5 working days but depends on complexity of complaint in my experiance.
2 iPhone 5s 32gb on 4g 8gb tariff 1 iPhone 4s 16gb sim only on business contract
iPad 3 wifi-3g 64gb
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.
Henstridge Rural South Somerset (still 2g only and it is 2014)

Cool, thanks for the reply. Well if I take the text as the start of it then I'm into the 6th working day so should be soon. Are they always good at getting back to you? Don't mind if it takes a little while so long as I'm confident they're actually looking into it! Also, do they generally email or telephone? Cheers.

It does depend on the complexity of the case. The ombudsman allows them eight weeks in a complex case. I've only once heard of an investigation taking that long. Personally, if I hadn't heard anything by monday I would contact them for an update.

Meh they only work monday to friday so since friday was your last post I would wait a day or 2 more.

But you could resend the original message asking for an update.

As everyone has said it depends on how complicated the issue is. The first time I referred something to them it took around two weeks for them to contact me, about 8-9 working days from memory.

I just got a phone call from them out of the blue, no correspondence by email other than what you have already received.

They were very helpful.
