I bought an Acer Aspire notebook with an embedded O2 card reader; it seems it cannot read an H-Type xD card that works perfectly in the camera; the reader correctly reads an old 16MB xD card.
I tried re-installing drivers.

Any help?

You would need to contact Acer regarding compatibility, but it doesn't look good for this type of card, more info here:

Well, Acer says to pack and send my brand new laptop to check for problems: I'm sure they would just send it back saying it's all ok.

Well if they say it should be able to read the H-type XD card, then it must be a fault.

No, they just say the reader supports xD cards, without saying anything about H-Type.

Can't O2 provide information about a reader it produces?
