Bluebook

I have been registered with bluebook for about 18 months now. My texts are there and today I tried to back up my contacts and picture messages. I have a Nokia 6600 fold phone and have gone through the manual process of entering all the settings but when I go to sync the phone I get an error message saying 'Data transfer not possible. Check data connection'. I have phoned O2 various times during the day and they have not been able to help.

Cheers

Pete

It probably means you haven't entered the settings correctly.
No - there isn't an app for it.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping for something a bit more meaningful. I have reset the phone to factory defaults and tried re entering the required setup data. I have checked to see that I have the latest software for my phone. I have even had O2 send me the settings that I had to save automaticaly. Still the damm thing wont allow me to save the contacts or picture messages. All my text messages are being saved.

Now I have given you a bit more info. Please, if you reply try and bit a bit more specific or don't bother.

Charming!
If that's how you treat people who try to help you, I shall not be offering any further assistance.

Yotchie, most of the posts on here are like yours.

Folks who have a specific problem and want a bit help sorting it out. Sadly though as there are no official O2 advisors on here you just have us the other customers. Some of us hang around and help others instead of just making 1 post then never showing up again.

We all have some attitude but best not use it while asking for help!

Thanks for the posts.

Sorry I was probably a bit out of order.

I know there are probably settings that are not correct. I was hoping that someone may have come across the same problem and said something like there is something that has been omitted from O2 or Nokia that now needs to be added. Or maybe why don't you try doing and then give me a clue.

I do respect you guys as I help out with Electrical problems for people being as I am an electrical engineer and I find it great to know that I have helped people. When I reply if I am not sure what they are getting I ask them questions.

Respect to all you that help out other people it is great to see that in this day and age we can all offer our services and not want reward for it. Thank you to all of you that have looked or even replied.

O2 technical help are going to try and help me later today. They have not managed so far. For most people that use Bluebook it runs with no problems.

I have all my texts are getting in but I can't sync my contacts and no picture messages have been saved.

Thank you all for either looking and even thanks to those that have posted.
