that dark band actually counteracts the lcd stress due to bending, so instead of having a band of paler image, it evens it out.

@Anonymous  The flower I am sure, is meant to be a Blue Dahlia...from the film and book of the same name.

However, I suspect you can have the same flower in various colours for these wallpapers..:smileywink:
