iOS 7 May Include AirDrop Wireless File Sharing Capabilities

Just seen this interesting article.

Basically AirDrop is a wireless file sharing feature that is presently on Mac. It allows two different users to share files, without the need for a wifi network or storage device. AirDrop for iOS is said to work in the same way.

AirDrop doesn't require you to be on the same WiFi network.

It also doesn't require you to touch devices or anything. The other person could be in the next room, upstairs, etc.

AirDrop seems really useful and I'm sure it will be a well used feature if it does indeed get included in iOS 7.

What do you guys think?

Sounds good as people can share stuff but wouldn't people's data & info be more insecure & available

So...email?!

I'm not sure I understand why this would be any more useful than email. I can already do this via txt, mms, BBM, Dropbox and email...
