I know I'm getting older because The Carpenters played on the radio and I LOVED it grin

I'm old enough to be your mum too @Toby ... The Carpenters were never a favourite of mine, but she did have one helluva golden melodic voice ... now get rid of that scary ridiculous avatar of yours ... & ... post your handsome pin-up pic from your Spotlight feature, if only for me please, pretty please wink

Did anyone watch Cradle to Grave on BBC2 last night with Peter Kay?

Absolutely brilliant and based on the memories of Danny Baker.

If you missed it, do yourselves a favour and catch it on iplayer.

A real look back at the 70s Smiley Very Happy

I watched it @jonsie. I thought Peter Kay was brilliant with his London accent. His hatred of plimsolls made me grin....and the Mum falling off the stool peering through the skylight was another laugh out loud moment

I don't actually like Danny Baker and admit I watched it as Peter Kay was in it.....but excellent TV
