Well my hospital visit went ....not so good 
The first thing I was asked ...have you brought my case? Second thing....well have you brought me any gin or whisky? ....
When the answer was no to both questions.... I think my brother in law lost all interest....
As I left, he asked me to have a word with the CEO of University Hospital (Coventry)...to get him an early discharge tomorrow.....
I think he is going to be disappointed...

I'm sure they won't keep him in any longer than need be. It was the same when I was going to the hospice on a daily basis, the only thought on my friend's mind was going home and he pestered me to have a word with the care team. Sadly he never made it home.

Well not to bring the tone down....as I will follow with a vodka or three...Its sad to see a once very powerful articulate and imposing man...who ran four companies...brought so low, suddenly with the curse of old age...
Anyway...rack up the vodka...i could do with a fair few...:smileywink:

Well its been a long weird old day...and I am shattered so getting off to bed...
Apparently I am required on hospital visiting duties again tomorrow afternoon...So better get a good nights sleep under my belt....thank god for the extra hour...
