I saw him at the Convention Hall in Miami, Florida. It was either '67 or '68. Can't remember which now. When he came on stage he dedicated the first song to all the plainclothes police officers in the audience, and then played 'Purple Haze'.

I would have thought you were one of those at Monterey?...or even Woodstock.. @Bambino ....

No @Cleoriff I was at the University of Miami. Some friends went to Woodstock, but I didn't go. I was in NYC at the time, but by the time we'd heard about it the roads were too jammed to get there and had been closed.

Had you been to Woodstock...you probably would not have remembered it Bambino.....
(from what I have been told of course)
