"Starting Feb 4, 2015 O2 UK will no longer support Twitter SMS notifications. Users will still be able to use 2-factor authentication and reset their password over SMS"

I am still getting the SMS notifcations but can't seem to tweet (the important part). Please help?

SMS notifications come from Twitter, not O2 so that is why you will still be receiving them.
The reply part maybe the bit that O2 are no longer supporting though I can't imagine why....
Someone from Social Media may know the answer though.....?

Hi guys,

Most customers use the notification method through the Twitter settings on their profile to alert them when they receive a message – via notification on the app or through email. The vast majority of customers who use Twitter also use the app to send and reply to tweets. The Twitter SMS service was a Twitter service, not an O2 one and they have decided to terminate it.

Also, remember, its @O2, not @ O2UK slight_smile

So this is why I'm no longer getting any Twitter sms notifications then?  Really handy cos I'm not always online so means I still get updates about my buses & traffic problems so going to miss it massively slight_frown
