I have recently done the £19 per month unlimited text and calls but my first bill comes to £20.23, am confused to what the extra cost is?

I think its safe to say that your first bill is always more, plus you will have VAT onto the charge etc.

The first bill includes a day or two extra to align you to your usually monthly cycle.
It may also include any charges used outside your allowance.
If it is a normal consumer tariff VAT is already included so this will not be added.
Next month, if you stay withing your allowances, it will be the normal advertised price.

I wished mine was £19 per month, mines £50 per month, it would be £25 but the other £25 goes towards the O2 Community Staffs £50,000 per year their on !!  😉
