Scary Halloween films??

Anyone have any recommendations for a really scary Halloween film?

I'm an avid horror fan but nothing recently seems to quench my lust for a good scare. Any suggestions??

One of the scariest films ever made was called Wait Until Dark. It was made in 1967 and starred Audrey Hepburn and Alan Arkin. I literally jumped out of my seat when I first saw it. Get it out on DVD and watch it.

I'm intrigued.....i may well give this a go.

Lots of horror from that era are still fantastic today such as Eraserhead, Holy Mountain, Exorcist etc

I wouldn't classify it in the horror genre. More of a thriller, but it will scare you. It will definitely scare you.

Yes, the original George A Romero masterpiece. His sequel Dawn Of The Dead was also excellent
