R.I.P Anne Kirkbride

I have just heard the sad news that Anne KIrkbride (Deirdre Barlow in Coronation Street) died today age 60

She had been in Corrie for 44 years.

A real shock to me. I had no idea she was ill.

@Anonymous   I admit I watch Corrie and knew she was having a break as the storylines were a bit heavy for her (that was the official statement). There has been nothing I read that indicated she was ill
