How do you get Pikachu on the bus? You pokémon. Get it?! LOL

You all know what Pokémon is and you've all seen the world go crazy for the new Pokémon Go game for the past few days, but it's now officially out in the UK and we've seen folk walk into lamp posts, go to the gym but not work out, or pet dogs are now getting the most exercise of their lives...

But what about you? Is going around catching virtual monsters with an augmented reality game/app the #newnormal, or is it nothing but a fad that will fade away?

For iPhone users, get the game here

For Android users, get the game here

If I do get Pikachu I know Cleoriff will have the necessary medication to prevent it spreading.

The safety issue for kids was getting a lot of coverage on the media today.  The gamers think it's a brilliant virtual game...the parents are worried it could be used to lure kids.....

I suggest anyone with kids checks their phones on a daily basis. Smiley Frustrated

Though as one gamer said ....'danger awaits kids on every corner now' which is right...but I do think app developers should build in some sort of protection for the young and vulnerable

The example being discussed was if something pops up on the phone when kids are in bed...and they are tempted to sneak out......
