"How to make and receive phone calls on iPad using your iPhone in iOS 8."

I recently updated my iPhone 5s and iPad Air to iOS8 and yesterday my iPad started ringing when I recieved a call on my iPhone, which did catch me unawares. 

After looking into a feature of iOS8 called Continuity I came across this excellent walk through from iphonehacks.

This is an excellent little feature.

Also works with the OS-X Yosemite release on newer MACs

The feature uses Bluetooth to do the pairing. 

I guess Google/Microsoft may try something similar in due course.
