I have never been to Poland but have heard it is beautiful...:smileywink:

It used to be very cheap for food and drink when eating out but I've not been for a few years......

It's still very cheap. When I go to Berlin to see my son, one of the highlights is a trip across the border into Poland, a couple of hours on the train and a day spent in restaurants and bars. He taught English in Poland for 2 years and my wife and I used to visit him twice a year. Last trip there was 9 months ago to Gorzów and it was so cheap compared to Berlin. A good meal less than a fiver and beer around £1 a pint.
