Sony have confirmed that they will be selling off their Sony Vaio division in an attempt to overcome their deep financial losses.

I have one too 😞

I like the Sony Vaio - they are sleek and vibrant and come in lovely colours rather than the typical black or silver.

It was given to me by a work colleague who had upgraded to a new laptop and the Vaio had some issues.

Cleared up those issues and my partner uses it now.

Although my partner does keep trying to 'borrow' my MBA !!

The Vaio laptops were always original in looks and design especially the small ones. Sadly far too expensive compared to the competition. I did have one given to me and it was about the same weight as a couple of housebricks. Solid though but the most annoying thing was the bloatware which once removed, was a lot better but I heard the quality/bloatware got progressively worse.

I've got a Sony Vaio and I have to say I'm not keen and only use it because it's got Windows 7 installed! I am surprised they are stopping them though as I know a lot of people do like them.
