Miranda Hart 'in talks to host Generation Game.


I really enjoyed this programme when Sir Bruce Forsyth hosted the Generation Game with the catch phrase "Didn't he/she/they do well?"and "Good game, good game," again amongst others.

What a showman he is.

Not forgetting Larry Grayson with the catch phrase "what's the scores, on the doors" and "Shut that door!",amongst others.

I wasn't keen on Jim Davisdon's stint on the show.

Remember the 'cuddly toy' on the conveyor belt !!

Now Miranda Hart is in early talks to resurrect the programme but I'm not so sure she can pull it off.

What do you think ?

Is this programme best left to nostalgia or should it be remade ?

I think this is best left to nostalgia.  I can remember Larry Grayson and Bruce Forsyth's second stint and I used to love the programme - I always wanted to go on it!

I think Miranda Hart would be absolute rubbish. Unbearable woman

More to the point, as its a resurrected show....what sort of prizes would they have to shove on that conveyor

belt to make it worth going on?..

I cant see a set of pans and a cuddly toy cutting it nowadays.....:smileywink:
