Episode 11/12 -> Dark Water
20:15 BBC 1.
Excerpt from the link /wiki/Dark_Water_(Doctor_Who)
"Dark Water" is the eleventh episode of the eighth series of the British science fiction television programme Doctor Who. It is the first episode of a two-part story, the second being "Death in Heaven", written by Steven Moffat and directed by Rachel Talalay.[3] The episode stars Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Samuel Anderson, Michelle Gomez and Chris Addison, and sees the return of the Cybermen.[1]"
My thoughts :
Looks to be a good episode with the return of a well known foe of The Dr.

Excerpt from the Link "With Cybermen on the streets of London, old friends unite against old enemies and the Doctor takes to the air in a startling new role. Can the mighty UNIT contain Missy?"
My opinion is that this Series 8 has had its ups and downs but on the whole I've thoroughly enjoyed every episode. Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman have played their parts admirably 😄

I admit I wanted to like it....even though we had a new doctor. I watched the first 2 episodes...and that was it for me sadly

To a certain degree I concur, the emphasis of the Doctor's relationship with his companions have never been about lust or anything like that until it was brought back in 00's (or the movie that never happened). Perhaps that's the joult it needed initially and not all of the companions notably Martha and Donna.
However with what sounds like a closing of a chapter now perhaps the main focus will be on making it more science fiction again.
