Hi guys,

So, Halloween is coming soon.

Pumpkin

For those of us who like to spend it at home instead of at Halloween parties and gatherings, I'd like to list here some ideas to get our homes in the correct Halloweenish mood!

What would you suggest for the soundtrack for example? Do you know any halloweenish songs? slight_smile

You need to watch the Thriller video...13 minutes but it's brilliant and a Halloween story in itself.

As for movies Friday the 13th with Kruger just about scared the pants off me when it first came out. One of the reasons that I've never been into horror movies.

The most frightening film I ever watched was Stephen Kings IT. This was when I realised I hated clowns....

The Shining was another horror film that gave me sleepless nights!

My claim to fame - my old neighbour worked on The Shining and, when filming finished, he got me the Snoopy curtains from the boy's room (I was very young at the time).  I've no idea what happened to them when I outgrew them!

@Harrysmum2008 Completely off topic here but have you asked @Toby about getting your old user name back? This happened to me about 6 months after I joined. I had to post under another name for a while...then Toby sorted it and my initial name was restored .....

I emailed @Anonymous when it first happened and he was going to get back to me but I haven't heard anything.  If Martin or @Toby could sort it out it would be great as I don't really like this name!

I didn't get a final bill from O2 either but I'm resigned to the fact I won't get one now.

I won't be leaving O2 again in a hurry!

Not exactly Halloweenish, but..

The Babadook - great psychological thriller.

It Follows - another good one, with a little more on screen presence.

Absentia - a really creepy one.

Blair Witch - old or the new one.

Evil Dead  - remake if you want proper horror, original or Evil Dead 2 for comedy horror with lots of fake gore.

That should tide you over for now!!

@gmarkj, I've heard such good things about the Babadook, but have not sat down to watch it yet. Absentia is fantastic too. Nice to hear from someone else who has seen it! Very indie wink

Stir of Echoes starring Kevin Bacon is surprisingly trippy. Check it out if you've not guys
