"A failed asylum seeker from Syria killed himself and injured 12 other people after setting off a bomb near an open-air music festival in the German city of Ansbach, officials say.

Bavaria's interior minister said the 27-year-old man detonated a backpack device after being refused entry to the festival in the southern city."

More bad news from Germany :

http://news.sky.com/story/syrian-refugee-wielding-machete-kills-woman-10511527

A Syrian refugee wielding a machete has killed a woman and injured two other people in the German city of Reutlingen.

The 21-year-old man has been arrested and was apparently acting alone, police said, with the DPA news agency reporting authorities are working on the assumption that it was a "crime of passion".

Horrible news. I fear these incidents are going to increase. There's no prevention against someone who acts alone.

These incidents also play into the hands of Trump and the increasing number of right wing extremists in several countries in Europe. I feel for the majority of innocent people who have come to Europe to try to escape the violence, only to find that a fanatic's act will make their lives in the country they've escaped to just as bad.

Cast your minds back many months......it was suggested then that the refugee system allowed the easy infiltration of trained terrorists into many European countries.
Germany probably accepted more than it's fair share.

And  this is the exact reason so many older people voted out of Europe in the forlorn hope we could control who came in.
