Channel 4 has taken over the terrestrial viewing for Formula 1 after BBC opted out of the contract.
I love F1 and am a bit dubious as to how successful this will be. However they have stated there will be no adverts during race time (thank god)
Yesterday they officially revealed the presenting team......
David Coulthard, Mark Webber, Alain Prost, Alex Zanardi, Susie Wolff, Karun Chandhok, Eddie Jordan and Bruno Senna; alongside seasoned live presenters and journalists Steve Jones, Ben Edwards and Lee McKenzie.
It also says Guy Martin will be making appearances

New Rules for F1 2017
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/37501676
Formula 1 has closed a loophole that allowed teams to get around rules restricting engine parts without incurring excessive penalties.
It was exploited by Mercedes at this year's Belgian Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton started at the back of the grid despite the team fitting three new engines and incurring penalties totalling 55 grid places.
From 2017, the rule has been changed so teams cannot stockpile new parts for subsequent races without penalty.
Also many changes regarding tyres. (which I never understood anyway!)

Far too complicated, bring back fuelling at pits stops and let's have some real drama. F1 has now lost the excitement I'm afraid where one team can dominate for a couple of years....
