Hi guys,

Its Father's day on Sunday and we thought it would be lovely to ask everyone about their favourite dad/father  memories slight_smile

Mine is when my dad built my sister and I a massive wooden playhouse when we were little, An upstairs section, windows, kitchen area. The lot!

How about you? What's your favourite memory with your dad?

My Dad died 16 years ago so I have happy and sad memories.  One which really stands out is running in to tell him that Nigel Mansell's tyre had blown and he hadn't won the F1 world drivers' championship.  I was only 10 or 11 and it was one of the first times I'd shown an interest in F1.  I didn't know he'd videoed it to watch later did I?!  Crazy

I also remember his bravery.  He was ill for 20 years before he died and I'm not exaggerating when I say I never heard him complain, he always thought there was someone worse off than him, despite the fact he was bed bound and in constant pain.

Sorry, that's not meant to sound depressing, I'm just so proud of him!
