Hey everyone,

This is the fifth game in the Deus Ex series, which has been running for 15 years and follows the adventures of Adam Jensen, an Interpol agent with augmented body features as he attempts to stop a terrorist organisation hacking into peoples augmented organs causing them to hallucinate and attack people.

Personally I've not played this franchise before but from looking at the trailer it's definately something I want to try. How about you guys has anyone played the series and is it worth picking up?

I've played a couple of the older ones. They were great, although sometimes a bit drawn out. Plus the choose an upgrade parts weren't particularly well done. But great fun nonetheless.

@gmarkj I heard you have quite a lot of choice with the upgrade path. Hopefully they have refined the process a bit for this release.

It was/is a good idea, just maybe not implemented very well. Always felt clunky and slowed down the game play.
A better way to do it would be between sections/areas when the rest is loading.
Having not played the last two versions maybe this is what they have done...

These mechanics usually get better with each version of a game so it should be easier to use this time around.

I'll definitely be picking up a copy of this at some point so will let you know what I think :robotvery-happy:
