I've been told:

a border collie dog is bred to be on the go for 18 hours a day

conversely, a cat can sleep 18 hours in a day

border collies are very clever dogs, arn't they @Cairdeas ... hope you & your Raffy are having a good day today slight_smile

This made me smile today. The hashtag #DogsAtPollingStations has been trending on Twitter with people posting pictures of their dogs waiting while they vote. Smiley Very Happy

Im more of a cat person but I do sometimes think I'd like a dog as we always had one when I was at home.

My poor cat has been in the wars this year.  Back in January he came home and my husband didn't think he looked right so we took him to the vet.  It turned out he had a fractured jaw and an infection in the jaw.  He lost 6 or 7 teeth and had his jaw wired for three months.  I feel awful but I had absolutely no idea there was anything wrong with his teeth and he'd been checked by the vet six months earlier.  Luckily he seems to be on the mend now but I'm so glad he was insured!  We'd have found the money somehow but it made it a lot easier!
