Lambeth Bridge in London was the scene of a bus explosion yesterday. It was staged for a new Jackie Chan film The Foreigner. According to the news it caused panic to bystanders and sightseers who were unaware it was part of a film...
No doubt it was a brilliant stunt...but I fully sympathise with those unsuspecting people who were enjoying a day out in the capital.......and then this happened...

Very scary for those not in the know. It's to be hoped it was publicised before the scenes were shot.....

According to the various news sources it wasn't well publicised. The bridge was closed obviously but the public had no idea an explosion was going to take place.
There are a few videos taken by the public who were standing in the distance. They certainly wouldn't have been aware of the film crew or cameras from their position...

My thoughts too, very irresponsible.

In London...after 7/7? It was tasteless. To say it was announced on Twitter is laughable. Not everyone subscribes to Twitter....

My dad works in Watlington and they filmed the WW2 movie Fury there. Tanks and explosions were going off everywhere. It scared a lot of locals! However, once everyone knew about it they were actually quite entertained apparently
Eventually due to CGI, there will be no need whatsoever to film in busy cities. It must take so much planning to do properly!

OMG I would literally jump in the river if I saw that! They should of had signs or something considering what's going on at the minute.
