BBC News: Malware on Androids (and some iOS)

"Mobile security firm Lookout said the bug, called NotCompatible, was the most sophisticated it had seen."

This malware has also reportedly tried to take over iOS devices too.  The aim of the malware is to collect data from the handsets.

Thank you for the heads up and link. 

This goes to reiterate that it's wise to be always aware of what your accessing and downloading online to try and stop these. 

Unless I know / trust the link I simply won't instigate a download or let it have access to my device.
