It all sounds very promising but you wonder whether the major battery manufacturers want something half the size lasting twice as long. I see drones will be testing the battery in November so let's hope this product really takes off, excuse the pun!

As you say there is always a lot published about continual research into improving the life of batteries though nothing seems to come of it. It's about time there was a breakthrough. The technology of phones is continually developing yet they are powered by the same 'old tech' batteries. Hopefully this could be the one.
