Just saw an advert for Baclay PayTag and was thinking it would be great if O2 could introduce NFC stickers for their O2 wallet cards. Is this something O2 could offer and would they consider it?

Have to agree, as you will still have to carry card with you and have it to hand.
Given o2's low £15 limit before you have to pin a trans. Pretty sure this is chip/pin as well.
Sadly while NFC maybe a great idea to many people. To banks its a security nightmare.... Hence the low spend limits. In case card/phone is stolen.
Which is made worse when it tied to phone, as you then lose a way to make a quick call to stop the card...
I hope everyone has their banks lost/stolen programed into their phone. As they tend to be open 24/7.

Hi mrmadcat,
We wanted to make sure the Wallet experience was the best before introducing new features. As the O2 Wallet is a new and exciting product, we wanted it to evolve over time. NFC is part of this journey.

NFC carries a significant security risk, as criminals as they did with Bluetooth are able amplify and steal data using illegitimate programs and equipment. Or even if you were lose the phone or it got stolen.
NFC should just be like a credit card where you have to enter your pin number. Which is then encrypted and decrypted at the other end of the transaction. Adding a pin would add that extra layer of security.
I had a Nexus S with NFC although it had no use and software which could use it.
