Unable to access Webmail

I have seen a post that describes my problem exactly, and it appears to have been resolved my someone at O2.
The details are :-
Ever since I joined O2 (Im an O2 mobile customer, not BB), I have been unable to access the webmail. When I click on the link, this appears:

Sorry, we can’t find the page you’re after.
It might be temporarily unavailable. Or it might have been moved, updated or deleted.
Have you got the right web address? Try typing it in again, making sure there are no spaces or capital letters.

Help please?
I have today been advised to change my password, but Ive not done that as can't see what possible benefit that would give.
If anyone can help, Id be very grateful.

Hi,
It seems that your account isn't validated yet.
I would suggest you to contact O2 Customer Services and get the account validated first. Once done, a new password will be sent via text to your mobile and you'll need to login with that temporary password and then change it and it should work fine then.

I've started getting this same problem in the last few days.
If I use an email program I get a message "invalid username or password".
I've been with O2 Broadband for ages and was getting access to my email fine until I took out a mobile phone contract with them.
It's been a nightmare ever since with my account password being randomly reset every couple of weeks for no reason.
This time I can access my account but get the same error message on the web mail page mentioned in the first post.
I reported it to someone on O2 chat and they said they would raise it with someone else and get back to me. :womanindifferent:

3 days since I reported my latest email problem and, needless to say, no one's got back to me and I still can't access my email.
I'm now totally disgusted with O2's customer (lack of ) support so have opened a gmail account which I'll now be using as my primary email address.
Thankfully, my O2 broadband connection is still ok but if I were to have any issues with it I would not hesitate in changing ISP.
So if anyone from O2 is reading these posts and actually gives a dam, get your act together O2 !!!

I have the same issue, long time user and now unable to access the webmail page.
Looked around the site for help....nothing obvious.
I did manage to get the auto help thing up on screen though, typed in the problem. The answer, apparently, is to go to the help page from the Webmail page.....that's right, the page I can't get to!
So I go searching again and make my way to the 'contact us' page which has a series of departments to contact for various things none of which would obviously deal with webmail, so I'm left with the best option of "I'm not an O2 customer but I have a question". This ofcourse is a lie because I am an O2 customer.
I write out how throughly pissed off I am and how they only seem to want me to buy stuff and not actually have any useful information or apparent help for service they are actually providing me. I click submit.
You'd like to think at this point that I got a response of some kind, maybe just an email saying they'd received the message and would get back to me, but no, I got a page saying "Failed to send".
GENIUS!

Hi,
I'm really sorry to know that your query is still not resolved.
You mentioned that someone one chat told you that this query has been escalated.
That someone might have forwarded your issue to an Online Investigation team as the advisers normally tell every customers.
They give a time-frame of 5 working days.
Now if the adviser has taken ownership of your query then he might have forwarded the details and you should be contacted within 5 working days.
I would suggest you to check the status of the investigation and see where it has reached.

Er, it's been over a week now !


I would suggest you to check the status of the investigation and see where it has reached.

I think it's safe to say nothing's been done about it seeing as I still can't access my email. :womanindifferent:

It hasn't been.
I now have a gmail account which has been rock solid and spam free !!

I take it you gave up with O2?
It seems as if no one takes up of any ownership of a problem. If I ring they ask for my number and postcode but are unable to link them to any email account.
I've had this account for years, in fact before O2, called genie!! Looks like a downhill slide..................
