Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to write in (I'm new).
I'm a student and we currently have a 12 month home and broadband package with O2 that isn't due to run out until October or November. However, we are moving into a different house - the contract of which starts the 1st July.
In order to transfer the package over, will there need to be any kind of installation or anything along those lines? If so, will this cost anything?
Also, as when this account was set up they said my bank account had to be registered at the property address, does this mean I need to get my bank account address changed?
Thanks
Nina

It may depend on what is in the new house already, there is more info here:

You are probably best to discuss this with customer services.

Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband

I started using O2 like a weak ago. At first it was ok, but now it is impossible to use torrents, speed is 20-120kb/s, at first it was 1.6mb/s.
Speedtest shows up to 14mb/s, so internet is ok, only problem is torrents
Can you please explain where could be a problem?

Re: O2 staff are here to help with broadband

Check my link above, P2P is 250kbps, and 100kbps at peak times.
