Hi all

Over the past few weeks you may have experienced slow speeds due to congestion in a few areas on the network and we are sorry about this. We are constantly improving and upgrading our network to deal with changes in the way that people are using the network for example downloading movies and gaming.

We are re-routing and balancing as much traffic as we can and we hope this will avoid any further issues whilst the bandwidth upgrade takes place within 6-10 weeks.


Upgrades have already taken place in:

Bristol and Southampton

The following areas will be upgraded in 6-8 weeks:

Brighton, Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Warrington, South Belfast, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Preston.

These upgrades won’t interrupt your service

If you're prepared to wait that long. Maybe they read my other post;

which forced them to make some kind of response to stop a load of customers like me just leaving. Good to see that they are finally doing something, but it's too little too late for me at least.

does this mean ill be moved back to a northeast exchange and maybe my ping will get lower and ill be able to play online games that ive played for years and now have difficulty's join most servers ?????????????????? and while its good you have taken the time to post here it really is to little to late , you give us this info after many complaints and most people worked this out for themselves .. maybe o2 would like to buy my collection of games as i cant really use them any more.
