[npr Level 27: Desk Jockey]

Is it just me or is anyone else finding the BBC site to be very slow for the past 3 days?
ping bbc.co.uk -t is showing 23% packet loss.
I assume it caused by this issue:

We have received reports for poor connectivity to numerous web sites from our network. UPDATE: The engineers identified the problem to be with unbalanced traffic to one of our peering providers

I'm surprised there's no other reports of this issue here or on other forums.

Yes, it's awful and has been since Friday. It must be down to the issue mentioned on the be status page.
No mention of it on the o2 status page though, and no update as to when they expect to resolve the issue.

Yes, I'm seeing some pages being slow to load, but it's intermittent.
Assuming it's related to the bottom post here:

I wonder why these notices rarely appear on the O2 status page?

BBC is ok but some other sites are slow for me, it seems to have been since friday for me.

Looks like it's not very wide spread.

I'm puzzled there haven't been any posts at the Thinkbroadband forum about it for over a week now.
I'm not seeing it so far today though.

Browsing is not too bad at the moment, but my pings to bbc.co.uk are still running at 14% packet loss (ie ping bbc.co.uk -t).
The ping graph from Thinkbroadband to my router is fine so there's no problem over that route.
The lack of post here and other forums suggest it's not a problem at the bbc end and only a small number of O2 customers are affected.

It has been unusable here since Friday (Liverpool).
No problem with any other websites.
I can access the bbc website fine through my 3 mobile broadband.

I've phone O2, slow access to the bbc website is a known problem, they couldn't give a estimate for when it will be fixed.
Just to add, the first guy who answer at O2 support I couldn't understand a word he said. He didn't seem interested and then hug up on me.
When I phoned back the second guy was fine.
I've always found O2 support to be a bit hit and miss but this was the worst customer experience I've had from them
