ulefone u58 dual sim data not connecting?

hi guys

i was looking for abit of help in setting my phone data connection up, my last phone was a samsung galaxy s2, i had the standard sim, i am on the pay and go go plan, all my calls and messaging and internet were working fine on the samsung phone, however when i insert the sim into the ulefone dual sim, the calls and messaging work fine however the internet connection doesn't work, even with the data connection turned on, i recieved the text message from o2 to set up the phone, however it still doesn't work.

i've tried turning the phone on and off it still doesn't work, however its fine when i put back in the samsung, could someone point me into the right direction? or someone with experience with using dual sim phones.

its a chinese brand if thats any help.

it displays in the top 3g, the wifi works perfect on it

Are you using 2 sims in the phone as I think the 2nd one is only for data use.

As your data works okay in the Samsung as a process of elimination some setting possibly in the ulefone u58 has be surpressing the data.

Has the phone ever worked in the UK on data.

I'm wondering as its a Chinese Midel their is some form of a Region style locking on it.
