Hi

I've spoken to a few other members @Toby and it seems the forum is going down intermittently.

I couldn't sign in around 10am this morning for around 15 minutes. Just kept timing out on two different browsers?

Apologies. I started a similar thread in Off Topic...which I have edited as we should all be posting on the same topic

I was logged on at 8.30 am. All was fine. about 9.30am it went off and I could not get back on for about 90 minutes.

I hope someone can explain what happened as it was...

1) Unusual

2) Inconvenient

EDIT: Mine was not intermittent it was totally off. I tried on Firefox and Chrome with no luck at all

No problems for me either (though I didn't notice any slowness like jonsie) once it actually came back on?

Perhaps somebody fed the hamster...so it would turn the wheel Smiley Very Happy

Seriously, we do need to know WHY it happened.

Particularly as I was in the middle of replying to a post when it went off!!

So that is the secret of high speed Internet!  I wondered why 4G hadn't reached me yet - they've forgotten to up the hamsters' feed!!

There was a MAJOR Internet failure this morning affecting any isp using BT Backhaul but it has been sorted now.

I use Bt Broadband @Anonymous

I could log into other internet pages etc but not on this forum.

I couldn't even log in using mobile data. 😞

Quite likely BoB as you would still use Backhaul once you leave the o2 network to connect to the Internet and on to where the Community is hosted.
