hi all,
i'm disappointed with o2’s 2g signal of late...
i have recently been to the following places and found them to have no usable signal what-so-ever...
1) Chevin Hotel & Spa, Otley, LS21 3NU
2) Crathorne Hall, North Yorkshire, TS15 0AR
3) Sporting Lodge Inn, Middlesbrough, TS17 9LW
4) Bettys Tea Room, Harlow Carr, Harrogate
what are your thoughts on o2’s signal and do you think it is worse than other networks or better ?
would Vodafone, oranage, t-mobile worked in the above places?
Thanks and regards
B!

o2 spend £1 million a day on upgrading the network. Areas that need upgraded the most will take priority - providing a full signal to hotel in the countryside will be quite far down on that list. Every network has spots where they may not have coverage but another network does.

Exactly, and there is the issue of planning permission if an extra site is needed or a site to be moved. Plus buying/leasing a site. And so on. Its a complex business and doesn't deserve to be trivialised or sensationalised.
