My phone is cut off ( my fault!) but being house bound and only having my mobile, it is impossible to pay my bill. I've tried everything!!!! Why is it that you can't ring 02 to pay them?? Hoping they will call me!!??

Won't except it. All the other providers,if your phone is blocked,u can at least ring them! Thinking of binning O2! Pity as been with them for years.

Appreciate your frustration.

I thought O2 stop services on a staggered phase after trying to obtain payment has failed.

I just want them to call me or for me to be able to call or email them so I can pay!! Not too much to ask. I can order a new Vodafone contract and have it here quicker.

It used to be that they stopped outgoing calls first but allowed you to call customer service. It seems they have now gone for a full bat. Silly really when people need to pay.

When all this is over and sorted out (one way or another) whichever network you end up using, I suggest you set up a direct debit to prevent this from happening in the future......

I hate to be a harbinger of doom, but if the OP has had his phone cut off because of non-payment, and hasn't been able to contact O2 to try to rectify this, he may already have had a marker put on his credit rating, which would prevent him getting a phone contract with any provider.

I thought O2 now insisted that all contracts be paid by Direct Debit? If that's so, how has this situation occurred?

They are supposed to and been discussed before but it seems they allow people to cancel them for some reason.....?
