I switched to O2 last month, and have not once been able to use the website to send text messages. I have tried at work and at home, on both IE and Firefox at the latter. The page it tries to go to just never loads up. Any ideas?
I am having the same trouble I am trying to use O2's free web based text messaging service. When I log into the O2 site at http://www.o2.co.uk/home and select to send a free text message it redirects to http://sendtxt.o2.co.uk/sendtxt/ and returns an error message. I have tried both Firefox and IE browsers and get the following error messages: Firefox error message Failed to Connect The connection was refused when attempting to contact sendtxt.o2.co.uk. Internet Explorer Message Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage i have tried adding http://*.o2.co.uk to the trusted sites in IE but still does not load the page. Can anyone advise us please
