Website bugs or errors

Anonymous

Hi guys,

Some of you have mentioned seeing bugs or errors on specific website pages. As it can sometimes be hard to reproduce bugs, I wanted to set up a dedicated thread to help collect and track any issues you might find. We've set up a weekly meeting with the webdev team to go through any pages which are reported here, so that should get things sorted rather quickly.

In case you do spot something, please let us know here and we'll keep you up to date with what's going on. To find or reproduce the bug/error, it would be helful if you could provide the following information:

Link to page:

Steps to take to reproduce bug:

What the page currently does/say:

What the page should do/say:

Thanks for letting us know and we'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible!

Cheers,
Leonard

On the t&c archive there is no link for 29th march 2011 pay monthly terms?

A google will give a link to the pdf but no direct link on the website.

It is an important one as that was the first time voice mail became chargeable for pay monthly so the error reported above means the website has been wrong for over 12 months.

@leonard this shows the total lack of ownership of the website and its many pages by the internal department that make the changes.

How many serious errors are US the customers going to point out before someone actually takes ownership of the issue and a full review of all pages is done and dead links etc removed from the servers to prevent google finding the old pages. But leaving the T&C that people need to refere to as 2011 contaract are still live

I registered here today, to also report that I can't log into O2 Wifi - apart from going through the "Forgot Password" route.

Hi guys,

Thanks for noticing these. A lot are still being worked on , but there have been a few changes made from your suggestions:

- Alignedchaos made an observation on the business support device page that the HTC Desire for Windows was displaying an Android-interfaced homescreen, which has now been amended. Thanks for the spot Alignedchaos!

- adamtemp64 noticed that there were issues when logging into MyO2 Wi-fi page. This has been worked on and improved, so it should now run well whenever you try. Thanks very much for that Adam.

More observations made by some of you are still being worked on, and I'll report back when I have more news.

Thanks again,

Toby

Ouch at the 404 errors. If the techies are not already using such a program should consider revoking the techie title:D.

FAQ link at the bottom of mobile site appears to be non functioning.
