Website bugs or errors

Anonymous

Hi guys,

Some of you have mentioned seeing bugs or errors on specific website pages. As it can sometimes be hard to reproduce bugs, I wanted to set up a dedicated thread to help collect and track any issues you might find. We've set up a weekly meeting with the webdev team to go through any pages which are reported here, so that should get things sorted rather quickly.

In case you do spot something, please let us know here and we'll keep you up to date with what's going on. To find or reproduce the bug/error, it would be helful if you could provide the following information:

Link to page:

Steps to take to reproduce bug:

What the page currently does/say:

What the page should do/say:

Thanks for letting us know and we'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible!

Cheers,
Leonard

Trying to remove a bolt-on from my offer from myo2 page, I click on "go to your accout" (pay as you go) button, which brings me to

http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2/viewmybill

where I then click on the "Manage my Bolt Ons" button, which brings me here:

https://mymobile.o2.co.uk/payandgo/mytariffandboltons

where I finally click on the "remove" button next to my "O2 web and wifi" bolt on.

At that point, rather than having the bolt on removed or landing on another intermediate step, I get a page showing

Technical Issue

There's a technical problem. Please try again later.

There have been many complaints about not having enough time to compose emails due to the O2 site timing out, and of course this affects everyone whether being logged into MyO2, using O2 Webmail or the forum.

It really is time for this to be sorted out.

Agreed. I do not understand why the logout system is based on a timer. The majority of websites I've seen auto log out once the page is closed.

To me that seems a more reasonable system.
