Website bugs or errors

Hi guys,

Some of you have mentioned seeing bugs or errors on specific website pages. As it can sometimes be hard to reproduce bugs, I wanted to set up a dedicated thread to help collect and track any issues you might find. We've set up a weekly meeting with the webdev team to go through any pages which are reported here, so that should get things sorted rather quickly.

In case you do spot something, please let us know here and we'll keep you up to date with what's going on. To find or reproduce the bug/error, it would be helful if you could provide the following information:

Link to page:

Steps to take to reproduce bug:

What the page currently does/say:

What the page should do/say:

Thanks for letting us know and we'll try to get it fixed as soon as possible!

Cheers,
Leonard

The international favourites website is broken 99% of the time I try to access it. To check my balance or change the numbers I have to call you which is a waste of both mine and your time. The interface for IF is great, I just wish I could actually use it.

Steps to take to reproduce bug:

Put in your number, get the code, put in the code and hit Continue

What the page currently does/say:

On Chome and Safari, you get shown a page which reads "Object moved to here." The word "here" is a link which takes you to the page asking for the code, so you can keep going in circles.

On Firefox you just get shown the code page straight away.

(Tested on MacBook Pro with OSX 10.8.3)

What the page should do/say:

It should take you to the IF website

I've had similar issues with IF and Firefox. It seems it only likes particular versions of IE, see my previous post on this. It's worked for me ever since I've used IE in compatibility mode, but if you only have OSX that's not going to be an option for you.

At the trailing edge of technology.

Hi all,

Is anyone else having an issue whereby when they look at the threads in the main page, your own name is coming up at the author of the threads even though you are not the OP?

I have not noticed it before - is it supposed to be like that?

Surely it should say the OP's name?

Hi @aldaweb

I can't take a screenshot right now sorry but I will try to do it later.

It's not a big issue it's just a little annoying seeing my name as the author on all posts.

I have just noticed that it is only appearing when I click on the posts that I have made - is it supposed to be like that?  Instead of just having my name on the column for the latest post, my name is in the column of the author aswell, even on posts where other people have posted after me.

Sorry I editted instead of posting a new thread to update it @aldaweb

I delete all of the cookies at least once per day.

Is it supposed to be like that on the posts that you make?
