This has been mentioned in another thread but deserves a section of its own I think. @MI5 and myself have noticed a changed to Contact Preferences. Initially I had opted out of Marketing info....today we noticed there is a new layout for the page and suddenly mine have been turned on...Advise everyone to check. Mine looks like this...(or did as I have now turned off everything except Priority) @Toby is currently checking when these changes took place..

@MI5
Wonder if this is due to the site modernisation period that also changed payments pages etc.
Would explain why beenherebefore has his set to off. It just may have took time for numbers to end up in various call lists?

They've already got our details now anyway, thanks to O2 and yet another system glitch (or intentional act).

Probably not a glitch or an intentional act.

I'm guessing somebody in O2 didn't check the outsourced software company's coding changes before approving them.

This is the real joke on the preferences page:

What's the best way to contact you?

Pick as many as you like. We don’t call or send post very often, so you might miss out if you only choose these options.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

O2 probably don't but you can be assured you will get at least one call every day from each of CPW, PPi and had an accident spammers!

A couple of other things to note.....I have done all this via PC and saved changes. Out of interest I accessed My O2 via my mobile (from the forum) and the changes had been saved there also. I have not checked by going directly in from My O2 App. I think people need to check if they access My O2 via various routes (as I do)
