Unlocking my iPhone 4

Anonymous
Not applicable

i have been going through the process of unlocking my iPhone fron O2 now for over a week. I have had various communications through your chat line and received the last email telling me to connect to iTunes and that would be it. I did this 24 hours ago but my phone is still locked. How much longer will I have to wait for the unlocking?

All you need to do on an iphone 4 is put a non o2 sim in and connect to iTunes.
Are you connecting to iTunes with a Voda, EE or Three sim in the phone?

Call customer service. If you have the latest ios there is no need to connect to iTunes. I presume you have tried a different network sim already.

Not 100% certain but that might be the issue, If BT isn't recognised as a carrier by Apple it won't activate on that sim so it's worth trying a sim from one of the main providers not the MVNO's.
