Unlocking Samsung note 4

How do I go about unlocking the note 4 from another network? Assume I take it into a "shop" and do it there?

Thanks

Might it also void the warranty?

Noted (no pun intended).

Just exploring options. O2 arent doing any deals for upgrading customers on the note 4 (which makes me laugh as they say upgrading customers always get the best deals!). They are also not doing it on pay as you go. So my options are to buy elsehwhere if I really want it.

Anyway know if the software tweaks on the note 4 will make themselves onto the note 3 (in particular the minimising ability of apps and new s pen features)?

O2 don't normally offer deals at the launch of phones they know are going to be in demand. They have no reason to.

Well arguably the reason is to look out for their loyal customers. But then all phone companies are thieves anyway

O2 don't operate a loyalty scheme any more. Supposedly, all customers, new and old, are offered the same deals, although occassionally people have been randomly offered deals.

The new S Pen features on the Note 4 are only possible because of hardware so won't be available on the Note 3 retrospectively, unfortunately....
All Three phones now come unlocked and you can buy sim free from CPW or Samsung directly if you want to go that route and just take a simo contract with O2.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I just don't see the point in risking bricking a £600 phone. If you want an unlocked phone then buy it sim free or follow the network's procedure. If buying from another network I would presume it will be P&G if you're wanting tounlock it. Most have stipulations such as being on the network for 12 months before they will unlock a P&G phone.

To be clear, it says coming soon for upgrading customers but is of course available to new customers. THAT is taking care of your existing customers!
