Unable to contact O2 so moving to EE

Absolute joke! Been trying to contact O2 to order a new sim for an iPad Air 2. Just keep on being held in queue. Live chat never working. I've been an O2 customer for 3 years but I'm now moving to EE where they are at least contactable. Very very poor service.

Whoever you move to, just make sure you get a decent signal in the places you most frequent before you move. Always a good idea to try out a Pay & Go sim before you take out a contract.

Hello @Anonymous

I'm sorry to hear that you want to leave O2.

Can you not order a sim online with the link that @MI5 provided you with? Or can you or a friend not collect a sim from an O2 store?

I have literally just got off the phone to customer service. Once through the IVR to request a PAC total wait time 10 seconds. PAC issued by text and also over the phone. Job all done in less than 10 minutes, although the delightful young lady did manage to sell me a half price case and incar charger for the Note 4.

I really don't understand how people are waiting prolonged periods, 3 times i've now rung in the last 2 days and got through virtually straight away.

Not doubting people for a minute but personally after a five mninute wait I would hang up and redial.

But are you using the big red Hotline phone on your desk to get through? wink
